Illawarra Credit Union

Illawarra Credit Union was established in 1972, through the amalgamation of the Collieries Employees Credit Union and Southern Mutual Credit Union.

At that time the Credit Union had three branches in Wollongong and 4250 members.

Over the years, Illawarra Credit Union has become an integral part of the Illawarra Community. We now have more than 30,000 members and nine branches from Campbelltown and Helensburgh in the north to Nowra in the south.

Community Alliance Credit Union

Community Alliance Credit Union was formed in 2003 with the merger of Illawarra Credit Union and Unicom Credit Union.

Since then, the Credit Union has operated as a multi branded organisation which was joined by Shoalhaven Paper Mill Employees Credit Union and Western City Credit Union in 2006.

Community Alliance Credit Union is a proudly member-focussed organisation, committed to providing quality financial solutions for the community.

Community Alliance Credit Union has has continued to grow and now provides financial solutions for approximately 50,000 members, serviced by 11 branches and 30 Automatic Teller Machines. The Credit Union has over $450 million in total assets and employs more than 120 people.
