John Brannon joined the Board in November 2020. John has extensive experience as a director in the financial, resources, infrastructure, tourism, hospitality and sports administration sectors.

John is a current Director of the Illawarra District Rugby League and former Director of; Bendigo Community Bank (Fairy Meadow Branch), Port Kembla Coal Terminal Ltd, St George Illawarra Dragons Rugby League Football Club, Australia’s Industry World and the NSW Mines Subsidence Board.

During his executive career, John held the roles of; CEO Port Kembla Coal Terminal, Head of Government Relations NSW for BHP, Head of Corporate Affairs BHP Illawarra Coal, National Manager Human Resources BHP Building and Construction Products and Head of Corporate Affairs East Coast Operations, for South32.

John leads his own management consulting company, Detente Business Consulting Pty Ltd.
