The Wollongong Running Festival on Sunday, 2 June was a pivotal community event, raising awareness and funds for Lifeline South Coast.

With four different runs, the festival welcomed runners of all abilities—from leisure walkers to serious half marathon athletes—aiming to support Lifeline’s critical services.

The festival featured a kids' 2km fun run, 5km, 10km, and a half marathon (21.1km). The Illawarra Credit Union proudly sponsored the 10km race, providing massages and healthy snacks for participants and spectators.

Being a community event, we invited our community partner, Illawarra Academy of Sport to collaborate with us at the event with some of their athletes and staff joining us in both the run events and at our stall.

Overall, the festival was a resounding success, celebrating community spirit and support for Lifeline South Coast.
