Transaction Alerts

We're making some changes to better protect your information, and it's just the start.

In our ongoing commitment to security and ensuring your information and bank details are always protected, we're introducing alerts. There’s two kinds: automatic alerts, and customised alerts.

Here's how they work

Automatic alerts.

When you make any transaction over $1,000 on a personal account, we’ll alert you via SMS and email.

What will I need to do?

Nothing, we’ve set up the alert on all personal accounts so that you’ll automatically receive a notification, like the one below.


We’re here to help! If you suspect that the transaction is not authorised or you’re unsure, contact us immediately on  13 22 49. 

Customised alerts.

You can also set your own alerts via internet banking. You can now be alerted if you send or receive money over your nominated amount, if you log into internet banking, or if your savings or investment account balances are outside a nominated balance. Plus, there’s many more options that you can customise.

What will I need to do?

You’ll need to setup your customised alerts via internet banking. Simply log onto internet banking, select ‘Settings’, then ‘Alerts’ and follow the prompts. You’ll be given a number of alert options based on the products you have.
